"My books are my best & steady friend". This sentance of Longfellow gave birth to an idea of collecting those best & steady friend at one place for the public! Because after two decades of social work, "Sargam" found out that most among us do not think of reading as an essential part of total human evolution. "Sargam" wanted to change the reading pattern of average woman. So, a thought for starting a library started taking shape, which was eventually, materialised in October 1993.

Today "Sadguru Mahila Library" boasts of having 5000 books. The newly published books quickly found their way to the Sadguru Library. This library has astonishing 1700 members today.
And what about  fees? As Shri Gunvantbhai Delawala did not want to give them free nor he was in favour of taking money, the fee was decided to be Rs. 5/- only per month. This library spreads the light of knowledge to rich and poor or fair and ugly alike.
"TAMASO MAA JYOTIRGAMAY" :
The ancient Indian Philosophy reflects the importance of knowledge. And "SARGAM" reflects this philosophy with its remarkable activities. A special library for today's women, launched by "SARGAM", is just another step towards social revolution in its true sense. And why not? Because with knowledge only one can discover the true meaning of  life.

"ASADO MAA SATYAMGAMAY" :
In effort to re-establish the almost-forgotten-habit of reading in females, "SARGAM" launched Women's Library in October '93, that today provides a rich source of  both 'casual' and 'formal' reading vis, Books, Magazines, Periodicals, Tabloids, Newspapers, Newsletters, etc.. Well-equipped with more than 5,000 books of wellknown authors from all over the world, this library gives more for less. In fact, more for almost nothing! The crusade of spreading the light into lots of lives through literature has its roots in visionary leader of "SARGAM" Mr. Gunvantbhai Delavala's endless efforts and never-ending desire to do something for the betterment of the society. He is the man for the people, by the people, with the people. Always.

"MRUTYORMA AMRUTAM GAMAY" :
'Find purpose, the means will follow'. This seems to be the motto of everyone connected with "SARGAM". And the sole purpose of any Sargam Member is to do everything for the 'other'. The "SARGAM" library for women is just another glorious golden leaf in a story of Social Reforms undertaken by the torchbearers of "SARGAM". This and other countless milestones set by this 'Club With A Difference' proves only one thing- Life is too short to be small. So, Think Big. Talk Big. Create Big.
