- Every human life begins
from cradle and ends in a crematorium! The ‘Yatra’ towards the God starts from
‘Smashan’-the crematorium. But ‘Smashan Bhoomi’ of
Rajkot city, had since long been neglected by the society which resulted into gradual
deterioration of this pious piece of land. The deserted and dilapidated place suffered
constant negligence and needed much attention. Stray animals, dumps of garbage and lack of
primary facilities was a common scene until one fine morning when ‘SARGAM’ took
over the reins.

results were surprisingly good!
- The man behind the
metamorphosis is Mr. Gunvantbhai Delavala who took the pain to carry out this mammoth task
of facelift of this holy place. A team of missionary men from ‘SARGAM’ worked
day and night to fulfill the dream that will ultimately go a long way for the society.

- "SARGAM" took
charges on Dt. 1-7-96 and successfully developed this vast land of 12,000 yards into a
beautiful monument, which was, later on baptized as ‘MUKTIDHAM’. Completed in
just two years of time at the cost of Rs. 3 Crore, today this place pulls
hoards of people everyday through its sheer magnetic beauty and aesthetics.
