Inauguration of Sargam Club	someone looked around to find the name. Eventually, there was a cinema hall adjacent to the play ground. And at that time, a very popular movie called ‘Sargam’ was going great guns. Inspired by the qualitative value of the name "Sargam", which means, the harmony, someone asked, "how baptizing our team as "Sargam ?" All agreed happily! Thus, a star was born without much of hoopla in a silent corner of the city. Nobody knew at that time what this small seed will transform itself into over the time coming. Of course, the captain of the team had a desire in his heart that he did not want to play only cricket under this name, he wanted to do a lot more and something extraordinary. And today, the name Gunvantbhai Kasturchand Delavala is associated with almost all kinds of Social, Culturual or Educational services all over Gujarat.
A.B.Vajpei Inaugurating A Program	The captain, Gunvant Delavala, who laid the cornerstone of Sargam Sports & Recreation Club from Sargam Cricket Eleven, has had seen a dream to nurture a great idea and took all the pain to make it come true. Initially, the focus of "Sargam" was just the sports activities, but within a short period, that young captain's dream was transformed into a social revolution and ‘Service’ took the place of "Sports". Under the remarkable leadership of a visionary Gunvant Delavala, a movement started to encourage more and more smiling faces in society.

Today, the popularity of "Sargam" is spread all over Gujarat as well as the world.More than 800 well literate members ranging from prominent industrialists, doctors, journalists to government officers, advocates and politicians are constantly helping this organisation day by day. In a nutshell, "Sargam" is a missionary organisation for the people, by the people, with the people. Keeping up the good work with an amazing mixture of Drive, Dedication and Direction, this social club is not merely a social club, but a milestone in the history of whole mankind!
