A number of children who have lost  their parents or at least one of them need to be rehabilitated. Similarly many old men and women are rendered destitute. And orphanage  for these children and an old age home for the old are to be set up.

Number of severely  effected villages will be adopted for overall development and complete rehabilitation work would be taken up through our various organization.

10th and12th class students awaiting for their board examinations will be provided with necessary educational kits (eg. books, note books, writing material  etc.) and arrangements for teaching and guidance to their will be organized.

"Saantwana" (Household) Kits and  "Annpurna" (Food  grains) Kits  will be distribute among the needy at place where our work is in progress.

There is also an urgent need for tents to provide temporary shelter to the  victims.

It needs to be stressed that the over all sympathy and support of the society at large has been beyond our  imagination and expectations.

We therefore appeal that liberal donations for this   humanitarian cause be made in the name of Bhukamp Pidit Sahayta Nidhi (Seva Bharti Gujarat) ** which enjoys Income tax   exemption.
